As a rule, there is a strong possibility that premises that double as your home will not be accepted. 在留資格「経営・管理」 (Business Manager) requires you to secure separate business premises for carrying on your business activities. They must be clearly separated from the residential part, and you must be able to show that they function in reality as business premises.
